ABOUT OUR DEALERSHIP

In 1980, Mr. King added the Chrysler and Dodge franchises to his family of dealerships, and purchased West Point Ford, Mercury in 1983. In 1985, he established King Ford, Mercury, Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, combining the dealerships at its current multi-million dollar complex. In 1987, he added Lincoln to the franchise.

 In September of 1989, King Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Chrysler, Dodge became an accredited business member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) where they currently hold an A+ rating, the highest score possible. 

In 1993, King purchased a Chevrolet dealership adjacent to the Ford store, expanding the complex's total to a whopping 28 acres.

With his good-neighbor polices, Mr. King and his business began winning numerous awards from both auto franchises and the local community.

In 1994, the City of Valley proclaimed February 15th "Hennon King Sr. Day" in recognition of his timeless service and major contributions to several charitable organizations of this area.

On March 27th, 2008, the City of Valley and Chambers County declared the bridge over I-85 at exit 77, near Mr. King's business, be named the "Hennon King Bridge" . Today, King Ford, LINCOLN, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Chevrolet and Kawasaki is still family-owned and operated, and is one of the few auto dealers that remains locally owned and family operated for the past 46 years. King Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Chrysler, Dodge is located in Valley, AL but also serving Phenix City, AL, Auburn, AL, Opelika, AL, Columbus, GA, and LaGrange, GA.

Hennon King Jr. (better known as Jr.), along with his sister Tanya Waldrop and the entire King staff, continue to operate King Auto Corner with its founder's good-neighbor vision, and remain true to the motto "Small enough to know you and large enough to serve you."
